As artificial intelligence becomes deeply embedded in business decision-making, managing data with integrity and accountability has become a central concern. This paper explores how integrating Privacy-by-Design (PbD) with Unified Data Governance can establish a structured framework for building AI systems that are compliant, secure, and ethically responsible. The proposed approach incorporates privacy safeguards across every stage of the AI data lifecycle—from collection and feature generation to model deployment and monitoring. It outlines architectural principles, design standards, and governance workflows that ensure privacy considerations remain continuous rather than reactive. The study also emphasizes the role of data traceability, cross-functional coordination, and adaptive policy management to meet evolving regulatory and ethical expectations. Together, these practices enable enterprises to balance innovation with accountability, reducing exposure to risks while maintaining public trust.
