In wireless sensor networks, attackers can capture the security certificate of some nodes and reproduce a large number of nodes with the same identity. Replica nodes have all the permissions of legitimate nodes and attackers can use them to carry out a variety of attacks. To solve this problem, we proposed the improved efficient distributed detection (IEDD) algorithm. It combines the EDD algorithm with the artificial immune algorithm to detect the node replication attack and can prevent replica nodes appear in wireless sensor networks. Simulation results show that this method can reduce energy consumption, shorten time delay, improve detection rate and packet delivery ratio.words:
